Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift | Monday–Thursday, rotating between 6:00 PM–6:00 AM and 9:00 PM–6:00 AM
Key Responsibilities\n
- \n
- Perform routine and advanced CT scanning procedures including CT of the head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, extremities, and biopsy/drainage procedures
- Operate Philips and GE scanners; perform all types of CT examinations with and without contrast, including CTAs with 3D reconstruction
- Perform basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging services
- Provide timely diagnostic imaging services to both inpatient and outpatient populations under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols
- Demonstrate knowledge of CT system processing, surgical/sterile procedures, contrast media administration, and cross-sectional anatomy

Required Qualifications\n

- Graduate of an accredited AMA radiologic technology program
- Active ARRT Certification (Radiography) required; CT certification not required
- Active state license as a general radiographer in Alabama (or eligibility to obtain)
- Minimum 2 years of CT experience

Preferred Experience / Skills\n

- Experience operating both Philips and GE CT scanner platforms
- Familiarity with CTA protocols and 3D reconstruction techniques
- Prior travel assignment experience in a fast-paced acute care environment
