Preferred qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid SLP license in the state of Minnesota, or eligibility to obtain one
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Prior experience working with students in K-12 settings is advantageous
  • Strong skills in teletherapy preferred, alongside traditional therapy methods
  • Collaborative, communicative, and adaptable approach to working on interdisciplinary teams

Key responsibilities in this role:

  • Provide assessment, diagnosis, and direct therapy services for students with a range of communication challenges
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in partnership with educators and caregivers
  • Maintain thorough and compliant documentation of student progress and session notes
  • Adapt service delivery via in-person or teletherapy platforms to best meet student needs
  • Act as a resource for teachers, staff, and families on communication strategies and interventions
  • Support school teams with RTI (Response to Intervention) and pre-referral strategies as needed
