Job Title: DevOps Engineer (On-Site | US & Canada Travel)
Location: Buffalo, NY – On-site Only
Travel: Required (Primarily within the U.S., occasionally in Canada)
US Citizenship required for project security clearance
About the Role
We’re looking for a hands-on, highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our U.S.-based engineering team. This is a critical on-site role that requires a blend of infrastructure expertise, automation mastery, and strategic thinking to help deploy, scale, and maintain cloud-native applications for high-security environments. If you're a cloud-native technologist who thrives in fast-moving environments and wants to be part of a foundational technical team—this is your role.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure (AWS) using Infrastructure-as Code (Terraform, Ansible).
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support rapid deployment cycles.
- Own the automation of deployment, monitoring, logging, and alerting frameworks (CloudWatch, New Relic).
- Collaborate with software engineering and QA teams to streamline DevOps workflows and release processes.
- Oversee compliance-based data migrations across secure, multi-cloud environments (GDPR, HIPAA, PHI, PII, PCI).
- Implement cloud monitoring and incident response systems to reduce downtime and enhance reliability.
- Write clear documentation for infrastructure, processes, and deployment playbooks.
- Serve as a subject matter expert during client engagements, workshops, and post deployment support.
- Occasionally travel to client sites across the U.S. and Canada to support deployments and training sessions.
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years in a DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Infrastructure Automation role.
- Strong experience with: AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, Gitlab, Packer, Python, Bash, Ansible, Linux
- Experience implementing and supporting compliance frameworks: GDPR, HIPAA, PCI, PHI, PII.
- Deep knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, secure cloud operations, and infrastructure troubleshooting.
- Agile/Scrum experience; comfortable in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly document and explain systems to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Valid passport and willingness to travel regularly across the U.S. and Canada.

Work Environment
• This is a strictly on-site role based in Buffalo, NY.
• No remote or hybrid option available.
• Office travel to client sites in the U.S. and Canada is required periodically.
