Our client is in the midst of a major acquisition and is looking for an experienced servant-leader and agile champion to join our organization as Manager of Scrum Masters. In this role, you will lead and coach a team of Scrum Masters, driving the maturity of agile practices across the enterprise. You will work closely with cross-functional leaders to foster high-performing teams, remove impediments to delivery, and continuously improve our agile operating model.

Key Responsibilities:

● Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Scrum Masters supporting multiple agile teams across the organization.

● Drive agile maturity by assessing team health, identifying improvement areas, and coaching toward best practices in Scrum, SAFe, or other agile frameworks.

● Act as a thought leader and advocate for servant leadership, continuous improvement, and agile values at all levels of the organization.

● Collaborate with Product Management and Program Leadership to ensure alignment between teams, transparency of delivery, and clarity of priorities.

● Partner with Agile Coaches and Transformation leads to standardize agile ceremonies, metrics, and reporting practices.

● Support the professional development and career growth of Scrum Masters through regular coaching, feedback, and performance reviews.

● Identify cross-team impediments and work across departments to remove systemic blockers to velocity and quality.

● Monitor and report on agile metrics (e.g., team velocity, sprint predictability, throughput, engagement) to track progress and enable data-informed improvements.

● Support change management initiatives, organizational transitions, or scaling efforts, particularly during enterprise growth or transformation.

● Foster a culture of trust, collaboration, psychological safety, and empowerment across teams.

Required Qualifications:

● 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Coach, or Delivery Lead in a scaled agile environment.

● 2+ years of experience in a people leadership role, managing Scrum Masters or agile delivery professionals.

● Strong knowledge of agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc.)

● Proven ability to lead through influence, coach at multiple organizational levels, and create measurable improvements in agile delivery.

● Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills.

● Experience managing delivery in a matrixed or cross-functional environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

● Experience in large-scale transformation or enterprise agile scaling.

● Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, LucidChart, or similar.

● Agile certifications such as CSM, A-CSM, SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), or Certified Agile Leader (CAL I/II).

● Experience in industries such as telecommunications or technology is a plus.
