Job Description

Job DescriptionAbout the Role

Picture a day where you program, set up, and run a Mazak Integrex to turn and mill complex aerospace components in a single, seamless workflow. You arrive, interpret a detailed blueprint, choose the right tools and workholding, write or adjust G-code/Mazatrol, prove out the process, and hold tight tolerances from first article to final piece. Along the way, you document setups, optimize cycle times, and partner with inspection to ensure every part meets stringent specs—all in a fast-paced, continuous-improvement culture.

  • Program and operate multi-tasking Mazak Integrex (or similar mill/turn) machines for precision components.
  • Leverage both turning and milling capabilities, including live-tool CNC lathe operations, to complete parts in fewer setups.
  • Perform full machine setups following engineering drawings and written instructions.
  • Read and interpret blueprints with ease, ensuring dimensional compliance throughout production.
  • Apply strong mechanical know-how to improve processes, fixtures, and toolpaths for quality and throughput.

Required Qualifications

  • Proficiency in G-Code and Mazatrol.
  • Proven ability to program and set up CNC equipment from prints and process documentation.
  • Live tooling CNC lathe experience.
  • Fluency in blueprint reading and GD&T fundamentals.
  • Strong organizational skills and shop-floor discipline.
  • Background machining a range of materials, including plastics.
  • Experience producing aerospace parts to tight tolerances.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Independently executes complex setups.
  • Selects tooling, designs/chooses workholding, creates programs, and sequences operations for new jobs.
  • Diagnoses and resolves advanced machining and process issues.
  • Runs CMM programs and prepares jobs for inspection.
  • Programming experience in G-Code, Mazatrol, or Mastercam.
  • Comfort operating multi-axis CNC equipment with complex offsets.
  • 10+ years machining tight-tolerance components, preferably in aerospace.
  • Proven versatility across machine types and materials.
  • Formal CNC machining training or certification.
