Fluency or bilingual proficiency in Korean is REQUIRED.
A well-established national law firm is seeking an experienced Immigration Paralegal to support its business immigration practice in the Atlanta office. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in employment-based immigration who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-oriented legal environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and draft forms and support letters for H-1B, L-1, E, TN visa petitions, I-140 immigrant petitions, and Adjustment of Status (AOS) applications.
- Manage and file PERM labor certifications.
- Assemble and finalize petition and application packages for attorney review and signature.
- Maintain organized, accurate records using immigration case management software.
- Review intake documentation for completeness and accuracy based on case type.
- Conduct legal research using statutes, regulations, case law, and public records when needed.
- Assist with family-based immigration and naturalization matters as assigned.
- Prepare responses to Requests for Evidence (RFEs) for both nonimmigrant and immigrant matters.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience handling employment-based immigration cases.
- Strong experience with PERM filings is required.
- Proficiency with immigration case management systems such as Immigration Tracker, INSZoom, or similar platforms.
- Excellent case management, organization, and communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and legal writing ability.
- Experience preparing responses to both nonimmigrant (NIV) and immigrant (IV) RFEs.
- Bachelors degree preferred; a paralegal certificate is a plus.
- Fluency or bilingual proficiency in Korean is REQUIRED.
