We are seeking dedicated Emissions Technicians to join our team and focus on EPA testing for mileage and emission standards. As an Associate Technician, you will leverage your basic knowledge, skills, and training to contribute to various Engineering organizations. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals with some formal education in a core skill area, who are eager to handle basic project assignments with supervision.
Responsibilities
- Set-up and perform emission testing on vehicles.
- Evaluate test results and recommend corrective actions.
- Drive test vehicles, which may involve operating one vehicle all day or conducting multiple tests (5+) in a single day.

- Emerging partnership and teamwork skills, with the ability to learn and share knowledge in a fast-paced environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Automotive industry experience is preferred but not required.
- An associate degree or trade school certification is preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in Dynamometer Testing/Lab Operations Setup is preferred.
- Familiarity with AVL, Horiba, or Burke Porter equipment is advantageous.
- Understanding of Global Manufacturing System principles is a plus.
Work Environment
This position is based on-site at the Milford Proving Grounds - Chassis Dyno Lab. The facility is equipped with both state-of-the-art and legacy test equipment, offering a dynamic environment with engineering centers, test labs, garages, and test tracks. Employees are expected to work full-time on-site and can choose from various shifts as indicated in their application. The role provides an exciting opportunity to work on new technology in a critical area of chassis dyno and emissions testing.

This is a Contract position based out of Milford, MI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.50/hr.
