Schedule: Full-TimeJob OverviewPeopleShare is currently seeking a General Warehouse Associate for a growing distribution and logistics operation in Virginia Beach. This role supports multiple warehouse functions including receiving, shipping, order fulfillment, inventory control, and loading activities. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.Job Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move products throughout the warehouse.
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately.
- Build and wrap pallets for shipment.
- Stage and load orders onto delivery trucks.
- Receive incoming inventory and verify quantities and product condition.
- Perform inventory control and stock replenishment activities.
- Return misplaced items to designated storage locations.
- Inspect inventory for damage or defects and report concerns to management.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Operate material handling equipment as needed.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous warehouse, distribution, shipping, receiving, or inventory experience preferred.
- Experience operating material handling equipment is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand written instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, and perform repetitive movements throughout the shift.
- Comfortable working in warehouse conditions, including exposure to temperature changes, machinery, and noise.
