Program Project Manager (Hybrid – Los Angeles)
We’re looking for an experienced CONTRACT Program Project Manager to partner closely with the Program Manager and help drive a large, multi‑workstream program forward. In this role, you’ll bring structure, clarity, and coordination to a complex environment—ensuring teams stay aligned, risks are managed, and the program delivers on its goals.
This is a hybrid position based in Los Angeles, offering a blend of remote work with required onsite collaboration.
What You’ll Do
- Work side‑by‑side with the Program Manager to support day‑to‑day program oversight.
- Manage program‑level scope, timelines, resources, budget, risks, issues, decisions, and reporting—bringing together information from all project teams.
- Help build and maintain a consistent project delivery methodology that promotes quality, alignment, and accountability across the program.
- Own program documentation, including scope management and change control, and ensure all impacts are properly evaluated.
- Create and maintain a comprehensive program schedule, highlighting milestones, dependencies, and risks in a way that’s clear for all stakeholders.
- Lead program‑wide resource planning, tracking new needs, changes in allocation, and risks related to staffing. Partner with project leads, HR, and vendor teams to support resource sourcing.
- Support program budgeting, forecasting, and actuals—making sure financial impacts from scope or resource shifts are addressed early.
- Work with project managers to identify, assess, and monitor program risks, issues, and decisions, ensuring action plans are in place and tracked.
- Contribute to program‑level performance reporting, including KPIs, status updates, budget summaries, and risk visibility.
- Oversee change control across the program and maintain tools and processes that support accurate tracking and timely assessments.
- Create communication channels that keep key stakeholders informed, aligned, and engaged.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, helping strengthen consistency, communication, and overall program cohesion.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 10–12 years of project management experience.
- Experience leading large‑scale technology or business transformation initiatives (budgets of $5M+).
- Strong background in developing project management methodologies and toolsets.
- Experience delivering IT projects using Agile and Scrum.
- Solid financial management capabilities (budgeting, forecasting, actuals).
- Experience working with both vendor and internal teams on long‑term, technology‑focused projects.
