Our M&A and Capital Markets forms part of Deals business area.

Deals is the fastest growing segment of Interpath as we continue to take market share from leading accounting firms, boutiques, and banks. Strategically, our Corporate Finance business is focused on transaction which are €30m to €400m of Enterprise Value and we serve the owner managed, corporate, and Private Equity markets.

We pride ourselves in being highly responsive to our clients, providing outstanding advice, and working as a seamless, cross service-line team where beneficial to our clients.

We are seeking to grow further our M&A and Capital Market business, particularly to build sector strength.

The ideal candidate will have an understanding & experience of the M&A process, financial analysis and deal structuring. The candidate will support the team in the generation and execution of M&A and Capital Markets mandates from our targeted clients, interacting when appropriate with other areas of Interpath in Spain and internationally.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Support deals execution including; financial modelling, valuation, market analysis, writing of execution documents and negotiations.
  • Drafting of marketing materials or transaction documentation (pitches, Information memorandums, etc).
  • Execution of due diligence tasks, both internal, as well as external (for the client).
  • Mentoring of the department’s junior staff (analysts and trainees).
  • Participate in recruiting and training of new hires.
  • Support the project lead for clients throughout the M&A process, ensuring a high level of client satisfaction and delivery of exceptional outcomes.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and key clients, understanding their business objectives and advising on their M&A strategies.
  • Ensuring appropriate collaboration with our other service lines to maximise the opportunity with any given client.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment, promoting professional development and growth within the team.
  • Stay informed about market trends and industry developments.

Requirements

  • Ideally 3 years of direct M&A transactions experience.
  • Excellent modelling skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Spanish and English.
  • A strong work ethic, organisational skills, and ability to multitask.
  • A well-developed professional network and relationships, clients, and target professionals.
