# Exciting Opportunity for an Emergency Room Registered Nurse! **Job Description:** - Join a dynamic **Emergency Department** known for its commitment to excellence in patient care. - **Number of Beds**: 38, including trauma bays, burn room, psych room, and a vertical treatment area. - Work alongside a versatile team of professionals: - RNs, advanced paramedics, EMTs, and unit secretaries. - **Patient Ratios**: Variable, ensuring focus on quality care tailored to patient needs. - Use **standard emergency/trauma equipment** and the **Meditech EMR** system. **Key Requirements**: - **Must-Have Qualifications**: - BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC certifications. - SAMA, CPI, or equivalent; support provided for those needing certification with a 30-day grace period. - **Preferred Skills**: - ENPC certification is a plus. **Typical Procedures**: - Deliver care in certified chest pain, comprehensive stroke, Level 1 trauma, and accredited burn cases. **Best Fit Personality**: - Easy-going individuals who remain calm under pressure. - Flexible team players with a positive attitude and a “patient first” philosophy. **Additional Information**: - **Texas RN licensure** or compact license eligibility required. - **Dress Code**: Royal blue scrubs (branded preferred). - **Scheduling**: Self-scheduling is encouraged. - **Weekends**: 4 weekend shifts per month.
