Software Developer
- Full-time, exempt
- Typical Monday – Friday working hours
- Hybrid, 2-3 days in-office for the first year
We are currently seeking a skilled Software Developer to enhance our collaborative team. This individual will work closely with the team lead and collaborate with external developers, focusing on supporting, maintaining, and advancing our existing suite of applications. The successful candidate will be encouraged to grasp the underlying business logic, gaining insights into the rationale behind their design and structure. This role will also develop internal tools aimed at streamlining processes.
- Maintain and enhance our current applications.
- Assist with design and implementation of simple UI prototypes for new features.
- Manage and maintain cloud hosting environments.
- Understand and apply business logic to enhance application functionality.
- Create technical documentation and software user manuals.
- Provide occasional assistance to technical support staff.
- Stay current with evolving technologies and frameworks.
- Contribute to team processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer or Software Engineering.
- 3+ years of experience in front-end development.
- Proficiency in Angular or WPF (.NET).
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript or C#.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
- Self-starter with strong communication skills.
- Experience with: Angular, Nest.js, WPF, Office.js.
- Backend: Node.js and/or ASP.NET.
- Languages: JavaScript, TypeScript, C#.
- Familiarity with databases: PostgreSQL, MS-SQL.
- Exposure to cloud platforms: AWS.
- Competent in debugging, Git version control, JIRA.
- Strong technical writing capabilities.
