Job Title: Test Engineering Technician
Job Description
As a Test Engineering Technician, you will perform environmental testing on spaceflight hardware and inspect mechanical and electrical components. You will assist in writing technical work instructions and contribute to maintaining the quality management system, specifically AS9100 standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform environmental testing on spaceflight hardware.
- Inspect mechanical and electrical components.
- Assist in writing technical work instructions.
- Maintain and adhere to the quality management system following AS9100 standards.
Essential Skills
- Experience in environmental testing, including static load, thermal vacuum, benchtop operation, separation, shock, and vibration.
- Proficiency with inspection tools such as torque wrenches, load cells, feeler gauges, calipers, and multimeters.
- Knowledge of quality management systems, particularly AS9100.
- Ability to write and understand technical work instructions.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in the aerospace industry.
Work Environment
The position is based in a manufacturing environment at the RF Center of Excellence in Longmont, CO. The facility is focused on RF technology and supports the Falccon Broadband Space Antenna project. The site is part of a rapidly growing company that has doubled its workforce in a year and aims to prime contracts in the aerospace and defense sectors. The work environment is collaborative, innovative, and focused on scaling business operations with a particular emphasis on space applications.

This is a Contract position based out of Longmont, CO.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $44.00/hr.
