Position Responsibilities: What You'll Do:Prepare fresh ingredients according to recipes and food safety standards.Wash, chop, slice, portion, and label ingredients with accuracy.Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked prep station.Follow recipes and portion standards to ensure consistency.Support line cooks and kitchen operations during service.Rotate and store food using FIFO and proper food handling procedures.Keep work areas, equipment, and storage spaces clean and sanitized.Receive, organize, and stock deliveries as needed.Work efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.What Makes A Successful Prep Cook:Organized and can manage multiple tasks at once.Works with speed without sacrificing quality.Takes pride in clean workspaces and food safety.Communicates well and enjoys working as part of a team.Dependable, punctual, and ready to jump in where needed.Adapts quickly and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.Pays attention to details and consistently follows recipes and procedures. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Qualifications - Previous experience is preferred but not required.Communicate effectively.
Able to perform at a high level during volume and pressure situations.
High-level multi-tasking abilities.
High level of awareness, attention to detail, and follow-through.
Dependable, reliable, and self-driven.
High-level organizational, time management, and sales skills.
Works well under pressure and is self-motivated.Must speak and understand English. Physical Requirements: Able to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
Able to grasp, lift, and/or carry up to 50 lbs. as needed.Able to work in a confined area.
Able to withstand changes in temperature, occasional smoke, steam, and heat.
