Job DescriptionMaintenance Technician (Night Shift – 2-2-3 Schedule)Full-Time | Direct Hire | 6:45 PM – 7:00 AM
$30.35 – $37.18/hour ($63,128 – $77,334 annually)Position OverviewWe are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team and play a critical role in ensuring maximum equipment uptime and operational efficiency. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of production and facility equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.You will collaborate closely with Operators, Supervisors, and Maintenance leadership to resolve technical issues and drive continuous improvement across the plant.Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Maintain and repair production equipment including:
- Injection & blow molders
- Fillers/cappers, labelers
- Conveyors, palletizers, stretch wrappers
- Service facility and utility systems such as:
- Chillers, air compressors
- Reverse osmosis & water filtration systems
- Interpret schematics and technical drawings to diagnose issues
- Perform preventive maintenance and equipment modifications
- Maintain industrial control systems
- Document repairs, work orders, and parts usage
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and PPE requirements
- Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve issues quickly and effectively
- Suggest improvements for recurring or complex equipment problems
QualificationsMinimum Requirements
- High School Diploma (required)
- 4+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or similar environment
- Ability to read electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics
- Experience with shop equipment and precision measuring tools
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
- Must have own toolbox and basic tools
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree in Manufacturing, Mechatronics, or related field
- 6+ years of related experience in high-speed manufacturing
- Experience in industries such as:
- Beverage, bottling, plastics, or packaging
- Hands-on experience with:
- VFDs, servo motors/drives
- PLC systems and communication networks
- HVAC systems (chillers, air compressors)
- Krones, Sidel, or Husky equipment
- Fabrication skills (welding, cutting, machining)
- Knowledge of thermodynamics or plastics processing
Work Environment
- 2-2-3 rotating schedule (every other weekend off)
- Night shift: 6:45 PM – 7:00 AM
- Fast-paced, team-oriented manufacturing setting
