Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced In-House lead Attorney with a minimum of 10 years of trial experience and strong knowledge of real estate law to strategize and coach the other members for related.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide legal counsel on business transactions, contracts, and compliance matters to strategize and prepare for trials.
- Manage and oversee real estate transactions, including acquisitions, leases, and property disputes.
- Represent the company in litigation matters, including trial preparation and court appearances.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
- Develop strategies to minimize legal risks and ensure business activities comply with applicable laws.
- Collaborate with leadership to support business growth and protect company interest.
- Manage relationships with outside counsel as needed.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active membership in the California State Bar.
- Minimum of 10 years of legal experience, with substantial litigation and trail experience.
- Strong background in real estate law, including property transactions and disputes.
- Proven experience providing legal guidance to business or organizations.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and mange multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualification:
- Familiarity with California real estate regulations and business law.
