Position/Role : GCP Engineer
Job Duties and Responsibilities
o Designing and implementation of GCP infrastructure using Terraform
o Automation of recurring processes
o Working closely with development teams and implementing CI/CD pipelines for building, testing, and deploying applications
o Containerizing applications and orchestrating containers
o Designing and implementation of application environments to ease development, testing, and release processes
o Monitoring the infrastructure and application for improvements
o Maintaining and upgrading current processes
o Proposing changes that add value to clients
Desired work experience and skillset
o Min of 2-8 Yrs. experienced in working with Google Cloud Platform (Google cloud certification like Professional Cloud Architect or Associate Cloud Engineer would be preferred)
o Experience in containerization and orchestration (Docker, GKE, Container Registry/Artifact, Cloud Run function)
o Min of 2-5 Yrs. experience with IaC (Terraform, Cloud Deployment Manager, Cloud SDK)
o Must have hands on working experience on automation tools like Terraform (Terraform certified will be preferred.)
o Experience in writing CI/CD for applications and infrastructure (Cloud Build, Jenkins, Git, Github, Sonarqube, Team city, Nexus etc.)
o Experience in working with various GCP services like DNS, Network, LB, firewall, NAT, BQ, cloud function, cloud run and GCP analytics services etc
o Experience in using monitoring tools (Cloud Monitoring and 3rd party)
o Knowledge of at least one scripting language (Like Shell, Python etc)
o Basic DevSecOps skills
o Experience in user and permissions management (IAM)
o Excellent knowledge of the English language including documentation
o Experience in secrets management using tools like Hashicorp Vault or Secret Manager is a plus"
