Job DescriptionShipping / Shop Help: Rochelle, IllinoisOur customer in Rochelle, Illinois is seeking a motivated individual to join their team as Shipping / Shop Help on 1st shift. This position plays an important role in ensuring accurate, efficient, and timely movement of shipments while supporting shop operations. Responsibilities of the Shipping / Shop Help:
- Coordinate transportation to ensure prompt and proper movement of shipments.
- Respond to customer inquiries and refer clients to the appropriate channels.
- Review purchase orders and shipping documents to ensure accuracy.
- Make special shipping arrangements as needed.
- Ensure the quality of all services provided meets company and customer standards.
- Assist in developing processes that make the supply chain more efficient and organized.
- Verify inventory counts and assist with physical inventory as required.
- Track and resolve shipping errors.
- Provide general shop assistance as needed.
Shipping / Shop Help Requirements and Qualifications:
- Effective communication skills, including written, verbal, and interpersonal.
- Previous experience in a similar role or knowledge of millwork preferred.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to collaborate and work effectively as part of a team.
- Dependable with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable using computers, software, and technology for inventory and communication purposes.
Pay for Shipping / Shop Help: $15.00 – $20.00/hour (based on experience). Shipping / Shop Help Benefits:
