Our client is seeking a DevOps Engineer to design and automate AWS infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and secure release processes for mobile-focused platforms. The role requires deep proficiency with Terraform, Git/GitHub workflows, database management with SQL, and production troubleshooting in an Agile environment. You will collaborate with developers and stakeholders to plan projects, harden systems against threats, and streamline build, deployment, and monitoring. Your work will enable reliable mobile and WiFi capabilities at scale.

Rate: $70.00 to $75.00/hr. w2
Responsibilities:
- Building and implementing new development tools and infrastructure.
- Understanding stakeholder needs and conveying them to developers.
- Automating and improving development and release processes.
- Ensuring systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats.
- Identifying technical problems and developing software updates and fixes.
- Collaborating with developers and engineers to ensure development follows established processes and functions as intended.
- Planning projects and contributing to project management decisions.
- Performing root cause analysis of production errors and resolving technical issues.
- Developing scripts to automate visualization.
- Designing procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance.
Experience Requirements:
- Experience as a DevOps engineer or in a similar software engineering role.
- Proficiency with Git and GitHub workflows.
- Expertise with Terraform.
- Experience with AWS infrastructure.
- Working knowledge of databases and SQL.
- Problem-solving attitude and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Experience in Agile development with continuous integration and deployment practices.
- Willingness to lead, mentor, and advise other engineering team members.
- 5+ years overall DevOps experience.
- 5+ years building cloud development on AWS.
- 5+ years configuring and managing databases such as MySQL, MongoDB, or DynamoDB, and SQL.
- 5+ years managing production infrastructure with tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- 5+ years of configuration management experience with tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
- Python or Java experience (preferred).
- Mobile or telecom experience (preferred).
- Architecture experience (preferred).
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- AWS certification.
