What You’ll Do
• Manage daily tool crib operations: receiving, storing, issuing, and tracking tools
• Maintain an organized, calibrated, and reliable tooling inventory
• Prepare and stage tooling for machining and field jobs
• Review blueprints and job specs to anticipate tooling needs
• Advise machinists and technicians on tool selection and specialty tooling
• Train team members on procedures, safety, and best practices
• Support shipping/receiving and material handling
• Identify workflow improvements and cost-saving opportunities
What You Bring
• 3–5 years of tool crib, machining, or machine operator experience
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings
• Strong knowledge of carbide drills, end mills, inserts, boring tools, and precision tooling
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and inventory systems
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt in a dynamic environment
