Job Summary

A mission-driven nonprofit organization in Burbank, CA is seeking an Operations Coordinator to support Human Resources, Finance, and day-to-day administrative operations. This direct hire opportunity is ideal for a highly organized administrative professional who enjoys variety, confidentiality, teamwork, and supporting work that has a meaningful community impact.

The Operations Coordinator will work closely with leadership across Human Resources and Finance & Operations, helping maintain employee records, support onboarding, process bookkeeping activities, coordinate vendor and contract documentation, and assist with internal systems and office operations. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a collaborative, values-based environment with supportive leadership, positive teamwork, and a strong focus on service, professionalism, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

- Support Human Resources administration, including employee records, onboarding paperwork, HRIS updates, time off tracking, interview scheduling, and policy documentation.
- Assist with finance and bookkeeping functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash disbursements, receipts, reimbursements, check printing, and financial statement drafts.
- Maintain accurate physical and digital records, including HR files, finance documents, fixed asset records, vendor files, and audit preparation materials.
- Coordinate operational support including IT setup assistance, office organization, mail, deliveries, inventory tracking, equipment check-in and check-out, and Salesforce data preparation.
- Communicate professionally with employees, candidates, vendors, school stakeholders, and internal teams while maintaining confidentiality and timely follow-up.
- Assist with special events, organization-wide meetings, employee recognition activities, vendor coordination, contracts, and cross-functional administrative projects.

Compensation and Benefits

- Salary: $45,000 to $50,000 per year.
- Job Type: Direct hire, full-time.
- FLSA Status: Non-exempt.
- Location: Burbank, CA.

- Office environment with possible quarterly travel to partner schools or clients throughout Los Angeles County.

- Mileage reimbursement is provided for assigned work-related errands.
