Now Hiring: Full-Time School Psychologist – Cattaraugus, New York
ProCare Therapy is partnering with a welcoming school district in Cattaraugus, New York, to hire a dedicated School Psychologist for the 2026–2027 school year. Position Details
- Position: Full-Time School Psychologist
- Location: Cattaraugus, NY
- Assignment Dates: September 2, 2026 – August 31, 2027
- Schedule: Full-Time
- Caseload: Student ages and grade levels are currently being finalized.
- Interview Availability: Interviews are being scheduled for Tuesday morning, July 28. Qualified candidates are encouraged to apply as soon as possible.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and assessments.
- Participate in eligibility, multidisciplinary, and IEP meetings.
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, families, and related service providers to support student success.
- Interpret assessment results and provide recommendations for educational programming and interventions.
- Maintain timely documentation and ensure compliance with New York State and federal special education regulations.
- Provide consultation regarding academic, behavioral, and social-emotional supports.
Qualifications
- Active New York State School Psychologist certification required.
- Master's degree or higher in School Psychology.
- Strong assessment, consultation, and report writing skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Previous school-based experience is preferred but not required.
