Real Estate Claims Manager

PublishedPublished: 6/14/2022

Job Description

My client, a premier unclaimed assets recovery firm that has recovered more than $1 billion for clients since 2000, is seeking a Claims Manager to own the full lifecycle of high-value claims tied to real estate surplus funds.

\n

If you're a strong commission salesperson who thinks like an investigator — someone who already understands that signing the client is only the beginning of the transaction — this is a rare opportunity to build a career in a niche, high-reward industry.

\n

Position is based in-office 5 days a week in Modesto, CA (1120 13th St A, Modesto, CA 95354), with minimal travel — mostly local, with occasional overnights only for reps chasing hard-to-reach contacts. Remote candidates with the right background will also be considered.

What You'll Be Doing

\n

    \n
  • Contacting heirs, former property owners, and lienholders entitled to surplus funds from county property sales, foreclosures, and auctions
  • \n

  • Researching claimants, properties, and entities through public records, databases, and online tools to untangle the chain of entitlement
  • \n

  • Building trust with skeptical strangers and closing signed client agreements
  • \n

  • Coordinating with title companies and attorneys, including court actions when needed
  • \n

  • Managing each file from first contact through final collection — juggling multiple active matters at once
  • \n

\n

Background Requirements
