If you’re looking for a high-impact leadership role where you can stabilize, modernize, and scale enterprise data platforms in a fast-paced, collaborative environment — this is it.
The Manager of Data Services will lead the strategy, reliability, and evolution of the organization’s enterprise data ecosystem. This role is accountable for delivering trusted, decision-ready data to Finance, Marketing, Operations, Clinical, and Executive teams while reducing technical debt and building scalable infrastructure for future growth.
This is a hands-on leadership position overseeing both modern cloud platforms and legacy systems, with direct ownership of platform reliability, data quality, and team performance.
Key Responsibilities

  • Own the strategic direction and day-to-day operation of enterprise data platforms (Snowflake and legacy systems).
  • Ensure uptime, performance, security, monitoring, and cost optimization.
  • Lead ingestion, transformation, and orchestration efforts (Fivetran, dbt, Airflow or equivalent).
  • Stabilize legacy SSIS pipelines while driving modernization to scalable ELT frameworks.
  • Establish SLAs, production support, and incident response processes.
  • Embed data quality, validation, and governance standards into pipelines.
  • Partner cross-functionally to translate business priorities into scalable technical solutions.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing data engineering team.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in data engineering or data platform roles.
  • 3+ years leading enterprise data or platform teams.
  • Strong experience with cloud data warehouses (Snowflake preferred).
  • Hands-on experience with dbt (or equivalent), Airflow (or equivalent), Fivetran (or equivalent), and legacy ETL tools such as SSIS.
  • Experience operating production data systems with defined SLAs and support models.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
  • Why This Role Stands Out
  • Direct ownership of enterprise-wide data reliability.
  • Opportunity to reduce technical debt and define the modernization roadmap.
  • High visibility with executive stakeholders.
  • Leadership impact in a growing healthcare organization.
