Summary:
VadaTech is a world leader in the design and manufacturing of embedded computing solutions. Due to continued growth, we are seeking candidates for the position of Facilities Manager. The Facilities Manager will oversee the maintenance and operations of all building systems. They will ensure safety compliance and manage vendor and maintenance team performance. The role will focus on operational efficiency, infrastructure reliability, and continuous improvement.
Requirements:

- Oversee installation, inspection, repair, troubleshooting, and daily maintenance of buildings, infrastructure, and equipment to ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety standards.
- Perform regular inspections of all facility areas to promptly identify and resolve maintenance and safety issues.
- Manage vendor selection, verification, and relationships, including obtaining competitive bids to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of goods and services.
- Oversee contractors for facility renovations and maintenance, ensuring repair schedules are created and followed.
- Support negotiation and management of service contracts, including approval of payments.
- Handle procurement of all necessary permits and documentation for work performed on company premises.
- Assist in preparing the annual maintenance budget and ensure all expenses align with approved amounts.
- Work with Human Resources to update safety documentation and procedures in compliance with OSHA and company policies.
- Coordinate and facilitate monthly safety meetings.
- Collaborate with production and operations teams to support manufacturing activities.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Associate’s degree with 3-5 years of facilities management experience.
- Experience in vendor management and knowledge of building codes and systems.
- Demonstrated expertise in building infrastructure, including HVAC and electrical systems.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and industrial safety practices.
- Proficient with computer and internet applications.
- Valid driver’s license.
Environment:
- Indoors/Manufacturing Floor
Physical demands:
- Ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time.
- Required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when working on the manufacturing floor.
- Ability to handle and lift objects weighing at least 25 lbs.
