Job DescriptionWe are looking for a dedicated Test Center Administrator to join our team in Westbury, New York. This long-term contract position requires a flexible and customer-focused individual to ensure a secure and detail-oriented testing environment. The role involves managing various administrative tasks and upholding the integrity of the testing process.
Responsibilities:
• Welcome test candidates and verify their identification according to established policies.
• Conduct security checks, including the use of wands, to maintain a secure testing environment.
• Monitor examinees during testing sessions to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Address and resolve any candidate issues promptly and with attention to detail.
• Maintain the confidentiality and security of all test materials and the testing center.
• Ensure candidates experience a fair, comfortable, and detail-oriented testing process.
• Record and report any incidents that fall outside company guidelines.
• Operate and maintain test center equipment, including managing digital scans and fingerprint identification if required.
• Follow flexible scheduling requirements, including availability for evenings and weekends.
• Represent the organization's values and mission in all interactions.• High school diploma or equivalent required; college experience is a plus.
• At least one year of in-person customer service experience in roles such as retail, call centers, or hospitality.
• Proficiency in Windows-based applications, including Office and web browsing tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with candidates and team members effectively.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, such as handling tools and preparing equipment for testing.
• Physical capability to lift up to 40 pounds, remain stationary for extended periods, and navigate the testing environment regularly.
• Visual acuity to monitor computer screens and testing rooms through camera systems.
• Willingness to adapt to varying schedules, including weekends and occasional evenings.
