As a Project Management Co-Op, you will work with project managers on cutting-edge new product development projects, gaining exposure to strategic-level initiatives, design & business aspects of development, and expansive cross-departmental collaboration.
This position is for a Spring 2026 Co-Op, with a start date of January 2026 and running through the spring semester.
What You’ll Do:
- Monitor & follow up on specific tasks as directed by Project Manager
- Take notes at certain meetings to report back to Project Manager
- Work with the Project Manager on detailed assessments of particular tasks, resources, or risks
- Harmonize formatting and perform first passes of critical PowerPoint presentations (Exit Reviews, Leadership Updates)
- Assist with meeting scheduling and preparation of rooms for formal meetings
- Perform data entry in Smartsheet & Resource Management and report on any uncovered risks or opportunities
- Manage collection, trialing, implementation, notification, and version control of NPD improvements
- Ensure consistency in look & feel, terminology, etc. across all NPD documents & assets
- Ensure data quality for Portfolio Smartsheet assets
- Analyze accrued schedule data for valuable insights: task patterns that can be translated into std work packages, typical areas where iterations are required and # of iterations, tasks that are typically behind/ahead of schedule, etc.
- Experimentation and implementation of unexplored but available Smartsheet & Resource Management features like sophisticated automated workflows
- Occasionally support Product Improvement Engineering with potential fixture design (or related) work
- Additional duties as assigned.
What You’ll Bring:
- Minimum 2.5 GPA (must be on resume)
- Major study in Project Management, Mechanical/Electrical/Manufacturing Engineering, Computer Science, or Business Administration preferred
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Working knowledge of Smartsheet preferred
- Strong critical thinking and positive attitude
