???? Position Overview
The Parts Advisor / Parts Counterperson assists internal service technicians, retail customers, and wholesale clients by identifying, sourcing, and selling automotive parts and accessories while supporting the daily operations of the dealership parts department.
???? Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers and technicians with automotive parts selection and sales
- Identify and specify correct OEM and aftermarket parts
- Maintain strong customer service at the parts counter and over the phone
- Process parts orders, invoices, and sales transactions
- Manage cores, warranty claims, and returned merchandise
- Track special orders and backordered parts
- Follow up with customers when parts arrive for pickup
- Cross-sell additional parts and accessories
- Maintain a clean, organized parts department
- Assist with inventory management and stocking
- Attend manufacturer training and product knowledge sessions
✅ Qualifications
- Prior dealership or automotive parts experience required
- Knowledge of automotive parts catalogs and inventory systems
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced dealership environment
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Saturday and Sunday availability required
