\n Hiring Immediately – Machine Maintenance Technician – Elgin, IL
Inergroup is hiring immediately for Machine Maintenance Technician jobs in Elgin, IL. As a Machine Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing production equipment including conveyor belts, sealing machines, box-making/cartoning machines, X-ray inspection systems, and related equipment to ensure all systems run at maximum efficiency and output.\n\n\n
\n\n\n This Machine Maintenance Technician position offers weekly pay starting at $35 - $40/hr and great benefits are available.\n\n\n
\n\n\n Requirements:\n\n

\n
• \n \n Minimum of High School diploma or GED.\n

\n

• \n \n Three to five years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.\n

\n

• \n \n Experience working on conveyor belts, sealing machines, and other production equipment.\n

\n

• \n \n Strong electrical skills: Interpretation of electrical/controls circuitry schematics and PLC hardware/Ladder Logic.\n

\n

• \n \n Mechanical skills: Troubleshooting pneumatic systems, motors, drive systems, and valves.\n

\n

• \n \n Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift throughout the production facility.\n

\n

• \n \n Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.\n

\n

\n\n\n Primary Responsibilities:\n\n

\n
• \n \n Conduct repairs and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime of manufacturing equipment.\n

\n

• \n \n Perform mechanical and electronic troubleshooting of complex systems, including electrical and PLC problems.\n

\n

• \n \n Install new equipment and make improvements on existing machinery.\n

\n

• \n \n Prioritize work orders for routine and scheduled maintenance and document repairs.\n

\n

• \n \n Perform maintenance and troubleshooting on all plant utility systems.\n

\n

• \n \n Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all company safety policies and PPE requirements.\n

\n\n\n Schedule - We have openings on 2nd Shift and 3rd Shift:\n\n

• \n \n 2nd Shift: Monday - Friday, 2:00pm - 10:30pm\n

\n

• \n \n 3rd Shift: Monday - Friday, 10:00pm - 6:30am\n
