Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Engineering Manager for a growing manufacturer of high-performing HVAC and air-handling solutions. The ideal candidate will bring strong engineering expertise—particularly within the HVAC industry—along with a proven ability to lead teams, guide projects, and collaborate effectively with senior leadership. This role plays a key part in driving innovation, efficiency, and excellence across engineering functions, products, and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Management

Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of engineers while fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Provide clear guidance and support to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Conduct performance evaluations, establish goals, and identify opportunities for professional development.
Project Management

Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and priorities.

Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including product development, manufacturing, and quality assurance to ensure project success.

Monitor project timelines and resource allocation, identifying and addressing risks or obstacles as needed.
Technical Expertise

Apply deep knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and HVAC systems to provide technical guidance and solutions.

Review and approve engineering designs, specifications, and documentation to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Stay current on emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance product performance and competitiveness.
Process Improvement

Identify opportunities to streamline engineering processes and workflows to drive efficiency and cost savings.

Promote a culture of continuous improvement and encourage innovative thinking within the team.
Stakeholder Communication

Partner with internal stakeholders such as sales, marketing, and customer support to address customer needs and market requirements.

Communicate effectively with senior management, providing regular updates on project status, performance metrics, and strategic initiatives.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

Minimum of 3–5 years of engineering leadership experience, ideally within the HVAC manufacturing industry.

Strong technical expertise in mechanical engineering principles and HVAC systems.

Demonstrated success leading engineering teams and delivering projects on time and within budget.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

Strategic thinker with the ability to solve complex problems and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
