We are excited to invite applications for a Radiation Oncologist to become part of our thriving community practice located in Johnstown, PA. This family-friendly area is surrounded by stunning natural landscapes, making it an ideal place to live and work.
About the Position
The selected candidate will be the second full-time physician in a busy, ACRO-accredited practice with a strong community presence and a solid referral network. The practice typically handles a daily treatment volume in the upper 20s, with anticipated growth due to recent recruitment in Medical Oncology. Our facility houses both Radiation Oncology and Medical Oncology departments, featuring a 23ix LINAC equipped with onboard imaging. An upgrade for the LINAC is tentatively scheduled for 2027, along with the introduction of a new PET/CT simulator in 2025.
Our support team includes:
- 3 therapists and a chief therapist
- 1 dosimetrist
- 1.7 FTE nursing staff
- 1 CRNP
- Flexible financial counselor
- 2 secretaries
- Remote Varian physics support
As part of an integrated, physician-led network, our physicians receive robust support. They engage in weekly prospective peer reviews and have opportunities to participate in monthly educational rounds led by experts in various disease sites. We are looking for candidates who are dedicated to delivering exceptional care, including offering patients access to our expanding clinical trial portfolio.

We are seeking radiation oncologists who are adept at treating a diverse range of malignancies in a community setting, supported by a vast network of clinicians. Ideal candidates will be motivated to take on leadership roles across various initiatives, including technology, quality and safety, resident education, and clinical trials.
