About the Role
We are seeking a licensed Pharmacist to provide exceptional patient care by accurately dispensing medications, counseling patients, and ensuring compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations. This role works closely with physicians, nurses, and pharmacy staff to promote safe and effective medication therapy.
Key Responsibilities
- Dispense prescription medications accurately and safely.
- Counsel patients on medication usage, side effects, drug interactions, and proper storage.
- Monitor medication compliance and identify potential drug-related issues.
- Prepare sterile and compounded medications as needed.
- Maintain accurate patient records and pharmacy documentation.
- Manage pharmaceutical inventory and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree required.
- Active Pharmacist license in the applicable state.
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy laws, medication therapy, and patient counseling.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
