Job Description:
OUr client is looking to add a new member to their DevOps support team. This person will staff support Slack channels and assist developers with technical issues.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan, deploy, and maintain critical applications across production and non-production AWS environments.

Design environments, release procedures, and production support strategies.

Influence teams to adopt cloud technologies and DevOps best practices.

Collaborate with DevOps leaders to define SOPs and align on standards.

Automate provisioning using Ansible, Packer, and Terraform.

Build CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI, Jenkins, and Helm.

Design strategies for high availability and data replication.

Troubleshoot issues, engage resources, and resolve problems efficiently.

Participate in Agile DevOps processes: design, development, testing, and post-production support.

Improve automation and production environments continuously.

Work with Risk & Compliance to ensure services are secure.

Identify and remediate recurring issues using industry best practices.
Technologies Used:

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree
-
3+ years with AWS
-
2+ years in automation and workflow development
-
2+ years in infrastructure design and delivery

1+ year containerizing apps with Docker and deploying to Kubernetes
Preferred Qualifications:

AWS Architect certification
-
Kubernetes cluster admin and StatefulSets experience

Familiarity with Ansible, GitLab CI, Helm, Jenkins, Terraform

1+ years working in Agile
