Electrical Project Manager
Position Overview
The Electrical Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of electrical projects in various sectors, including commercial, industrial, and institutional. This role requires a strong background in electrical engineering and project management to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage electrical projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and subcontractors to facilitate project progress and resolve any issues.
- Develop project plans, including scope, schedule, and resources, and communicate them effectively to all stakeholders.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Prepare and manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
- Oversee the procurement of materials and equipment necessary for project execution.
- Provide technical support and guidance to project teams and ensure adherence to best practices in electrical engineering.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in electrical construction, preferably in commercial, industrial, or institutional settings.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, standards, and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients and stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Familiarity with project management software and tools.
