Job summary: Our client in Maple Shade, NJ, is seeking 2 Skilled Tool Markers to support the repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting of stamping dies used in production. This is a Temp to Hire role offering between $38-$40/hr based on experience. The schedule for this role is 6AM-4:30PM, Monday through Friday – overtime is available on Saturdays.

The ideal candidate will have strong manual machining experience, surface grinding expertise, and the ability to work with close tolerances in a precision manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:
\n
- \n
- Repair and maintain stamping dies and tooling.
- Troubleshoot tooling issues and non-conforming parts.
- Fabricate replacement die components as needed.
- Inspect tooling for wear and damage.
- Maintain maintenance and repair records.
- Operate surface grinders, manual mills, lathes, and other machining equipment.
- Read blueprints and work to close tolerances.
- Use precision measuring tools including micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators.
- Operate a forklift or pallet jack as needed.

Requirements:
\n
- \n
- Must have 3-5 years of surface grinding experience
- 3-5 years of manual machining experience (mills, lathes, grinders, etc.)
- Experience with ID and OD machining
- Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of GD&T preferred.
- Tool & Die Maker experience preferred.
- Ability to lift 40–50 lbs consistently.
- Ability to stand and work in a manufacturing environment throughout the shift.
