Employment Type: Consulting/Contract (Hourly – Proposal-Based Position)
Contract Duration: Anticipated one (1) year engagement with the possibility of renewal for an additional year, contingent upon contract award and client need.
Compensation: Hourly consulting rate commensurate with experience and aligned with proposal and contract guidelines.

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Interim Chief Technology Officer / Chief Information Officer (CTO/CIO) consultant to provide executive-level leadership over enterprise IT operations, technology strategy, and critical systems performance. This is a proposal-based opportunity contingent upon contract award.

Key Responsibilities
The Interim CIO/CTO consultant will:
- Develop and implement a technology strategy aligned with organizational goals and budget
- Lead and oversee technical, engineering, and infrastructure teams to ensure continuity of operations
- Ensure mission-critical IT systems remain stable, secure, and fully operational
- Provide executive oversight of cybersecurity, compliance, governance, and IT risk management
- Identify and recommend system enhancements and modernization opportunities
- Manage vendor relationships and technology partnerships
- Support talent acquisition, team development, and organizational growth initiatives
- Communicate effectively with executive stakeholders on technology priorities and protocols
Required Qualifications
Qualified candidates will demonstrate:
- An advanced degree in a technology-related field (Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar)
- Extensive executive leadership experience in enterprise IT operations and strategic planning
- Expertise in architecture, infrastructure, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
- Strong background in cybersecurity, compliance, and data governance
- Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value
- Preferred: 10+ years of executive-level IT leadership experience in large-scale or regulated environments
