Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Active state Physical Therapist license in good standing
- An active State license sanctioned by the State Board of Physical Therapy
- Prior experience working with pediatric or school-based populations highly desired, though not required
- Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver physical therapy services in accordance with each student’s Individualized Education Program (IEP)
- Evaluate students’ motor skills and develop goals tailored to support educational performance
- Employ evidence-based interventions to address gross motor, mobility, balance, and access needs
- Maintain detailed documentation of assessments, goals, and progress reports
- Actively participate in IEP meetings and communicate with teachers, staff, and families
- Provide consultative guidance to staff for integrating therapeutic strategies into the classroom
