Maintenance Technician / Millwright – Industrial Plant
Location: Levelland, TX
Pay: $27–$32/hour, based on experience
Shift: Day Shift 7am-4pm, Monday-Friday
About the Role
We're hiring an experienced Millwright / Industrial Maintenance Technician to support a bio-ethanol production plant in Levelland, TX. This role handles precision mechanical work — alignments, rotating equipment repair, and rigging — on production-critical systems. This is not an entry-level maintenance role: we need someone who already knows their way around a plant floor.
What You'll Do
- Perform preventative maintenance and precision alignments on belted and direct-coupled equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair centrifuges, conveyors, hammermills, pumps, gearboxes, and valves
- Weld, cut, and fabricate as needed for repairs and installs
- Support equipment installations and shutdown maintenance projects
- Maintain a safe, organized workspace and follow SDS/safety protocols
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial plant environment (required) — candidates with up to 8+ years are a strong fit
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude with rotating and process equipment: pumps, motors, gearboxes, conveyors
- Skilled in precision alignment, rigging, and mechanical troubleshooting — able to work independently on complex repairs
- Strong attendance record and reliability
- Able to work in confined spaces, at heights up to 200 ft, and lift up to 50 lbs
- Forklift, telehandler, or aerial lift experience a plus
