Job DescriptionWastewater Treatment Project Manager

We are looking for a Project Manager to oversee the execution of water and wastewater treatment construction projects from initial planning through final delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct day-to-day project operations, including planning, coordination, and performance tracking.
  • Build project execution plans, confirm scope details, and organize work sequences from start to finish.
  • Maintain project budgets, review expenditures, and update cost forecasts to reflect current progress.
  • Develop and update project schedules, identify critical path items, and communicate timeline impacts.
  • Coordinate engineering, field supervision, subcontractors, and suppliers to keep work progressing efficiently.
  • Review technical documents, drawings, and specifications to confirm constructability and project alignment.
  • Monitor field activities, verify that work meets contract requirements, and support quality control procedures.
  • Address project issues quickly by evaluating options, developing solutions, and keeping teams informed.
  • Manage project documentation, including reports, meeting notes, logs, and closeout materials.
  • Support safety policies by reinforcing procedures and ensuring field teams follow required protocols.
  • Assist estimating teams with takeoffs, pricing information, and preconstruction input as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred in civil engineering, environmental engineering, construction management, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience managing water and wastewater treatment plant construction projects.
  • Understanding of process equipment, yard piping, structural work, concrete, and mechanical systems related to treatment facilities.
  • Strong organizational abilities, including schedule management, document control, and task coordination.
  • Ability to review engineering plans, interpret technical requirements, and communicate expectations clearly.
  • Experience interacting with owners, engineers, inspectors, and subcontractors in a professional setting.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and an ability to learn project management and cost tracking tools.
