We're looking for a passionate Special Education Teacher to join a supportive school in Lower Lake, CA for the 2026–2027 school year! Position Details

- Hours: 37.5 hours per week, plus 1 additional hour for weekly staff meetings
Caseload
- Extensive Support Needs (ESN) Classroom
- Grades Kindergarten–4th
- 14-student caseload
- 7.5-hour workday
- Well-structured elementary classroom focused on supporting students with significant learning needs
Qualifications
- Active California Extensive Support Needs (ESN) or Moderate/Severe Education Specialist Credential (or equivalent)
- Passion for supporting students with diverse learning needs
- Strong collaboration, communication, and classroom management skills
Position Responsibilities
- Deliver individualized instruction aligned with students' IEPs
- Foster a structured, positive, and inclusive classroom environment
- Collaborate with families, related service providers, and multidisciplinary teams
- Monitor student progress and maintain compliant documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and support student success through data-driven instruction
