Job Description

SENIOR RESTAURANT ACCOUNTANT

Confidential Multi-Concept Hospitality Group | 30A, FL

A Finance Role Built for Hospitality

Ready to move beyond traditional accounting and become a true business partner to a growing hospitality operation?

We’re conducting a confidential search for an experienced hospitality accounting professional to join a dynamic, multi-concept organization located in Florida’s coveted 30A resort market.

This is a unique opportunity to play a key financial leadership role within an operation that spans multiple food & beverage concepts, a vibrant outdoor food hall, tenant-based property operations, and an entertainment business.

You won't simply be closing books and producing reports. You'll be expected to understand the business behind the numbers, identify opportunities, and translate financial performance into actionable insights for leadership and operations.

What You'll Own

Financial Leadership

  • Own the period-end close process within Restaurant365 (R365)
  • Ensure accurate and complete financial statements
  • Prepare and present financial packages to executive leadership
  • Analyze variances and translate results into operational insights
  • Maintain general ledger integrity and oversee account reconciliations
  • Own period-end inventory and related accounting entries
  • Complete monthly Florida sales tax filings

Operational & Financial Reporting

  • Deliver weekly flash reporting highlighting key business drivers
  • Monitor purchasing, discounts, comps, voids, sales mix, and other performance trends
  • Partner with operations to identify and address financial variances
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis

Systems & Technology

  • Serve as a key resource for Restaurant365 and Toast
  • Ensure accurate data flow between POS, accounting, inventory, and other integrated systems
  • Identify and resolve system discrepancies
  • Improve reporting structures and system utilization
  • Participate in future system selection, implementation, and migration initiatives

Controls & Compliance

  • Oversee accounting workflows completed by operations teams
  • Manage payroll entries, recurring expenses, bank reconciliations, cash activity, and deposits
  • Manage ACH, check issuance, approvals, and financial documentation
  • Track business and operator licenses and compliance deadlines
  • Coordinate property, liability, and workers' compensation insurance activities
  • Support real estate and personal property tax matters
  • Maintain strong internal controls across multiple revenue streams

Where You Make an Impact

This role sits at the intersection of finance, operations, hospitality, and growth.

You'll work directly with leadership and operational teams across:

  • Multiple F&B concepts
  • A high-energy outdoor food hall
  • Tenant/property operations
  • Entertainment operations
  • Future expansion opportunities

The ideal candidate isn't someone who simply reports what happened last month. You're someone who can look at the numbers, understand why they happened, and help leadership determine what to do next.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 4–7+ years of hospitality, restaurant, or multi-unit accounting experience
  • Restaurant365 (R365) experience — required
  • Experience with current restaurant POS systems — required
  • Strong understanding of restaurant financials, COGS, labor, operating expenses, and inventory
  • Demonstrated experience owning period-end close and bank reconciliations
  • Advanced Excel and strong analytical skills
  • Ability to quickly learn and navigate new technology platforms
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to partner effectively with operations

Experience That Will Set You Apart

  • Multi-concept or food hall experience
  • Mixed-use or tenant-based operations
  • Hospitality/property accounting
  • System implementation or migration experience
  • Experience supporting a growing or expanding organization
  • Experience working with distributed or remote teams

Why This Opportunity?

Competitive Compensation

  • $80,000–$90,000 base salary
  • Up to 15% annual bonus
  • Competitive benefits package

More importantly: You'll have the opportunity to become an integral part of a growing hospitality organization where your financial expertise directly influences operations, profitability, decision-making, and future growth.

Location: 30A / Florida Panhandle

This is a confidential search. Company and ownership details will be shared with qualified candidates during the interview process.

Interested?

If you're an experienced hospitality accounting professional who wants to have a seat at the table—not just a seat behind the numbers—we'd love to hear from you.
