Seeking GRC Technology Lead candidates for a contract role with our client in New York City, NY.

This role will lead the configuration, governance, and optimization of AuditBoard modules and support public company risk, compliance, and audit programs. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with SOX 404 compliance, ERP controls, IT General Controls, and cross-functional collaboration with IT, Risk, and Compliance teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead configuration, customization, and administration of the AuditBoard platform, including SOXHUB, OpsAudit, and RiskOversight
• Manage user access, permissions, and manual environment changes within AuditBoard
• Support and enhance public company SOX 404 compliance programs
• Partner with IT, Risk, Compliance, and business teams to improve GRC workflows and audit efficiency
• Support ERP application controls for SAP, Oracle, and NetSuite
• Maintain and enhance Risk Control Matrices (RCMs) and control testing processes
• Apply data analytics using Power BI, Tableau, and advanced Excel to support audit reporting and insights
• Provide platform governance to ensure system integrity, performance, and compliance
• Drive process improvement and automation initiatives related to audit and risk management
• Prepare and present clear reporting to leadership on audit status, risks, and remediation
• Coordinate with AuditBoard vendor support for upgrades, issues, and enhancements

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Experience supporting SOX 404 compliance for a public company
• Hands-on experience with AuditBoard (SOXHUB, OpsAudit, RiskOversight)
• Strong understanding of operational auditing and RCM development
• Experience with ERP controls (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)
• Knowledge of IT General Controls (ITGC)
• Proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, or advanced Excel
• Familiarity with GRC frameworks and regulatory requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience leading audit technology implementations or enhancements
• Experience driving audit process automation and efficiency improvements
• Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Contract to hire. Hourly rate $60-$68
