Job Title: Full-Time Retail Cashier
Location: Shelby, North Carolina
Schedule: Monday–Saturday (Closed Sundays)
Hours: Full-Time (40 hours per week) with occasional overtime
About the Position
We’re looking for a friendly, dependable Retail Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a team environment, and takes pride in providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Operate cash register and handle transactions accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized area and accurate end-of-shift paperwork
- Assist customers with patience and courtesy
- Restock shelves and assist with general store upkeep
- Follow company policies and procedures
Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Full-time availability
- Must be able to load and unload truck shipments and lift a minimum of 25 lbs. and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
- Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening
- Strong work ethic, reliable, dependable, and punctual
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude and willingness to take direction
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Must have state issued Drivers License, reliable transportation and live within 25 miles of Shelby, NC
