Summary:
Our firm is seeking an experienced Project Manager to coordinate projects across our IT Infrastructure teams. The ideal candidate will lead a large user migration project involving key stakeholders across multiple IT infrastructure and security teams, as well as IT infrastructure staff in other areas of the organization. This role will synchronize workstreams across the project, including Windows servers and desktop support, file storage, access management/credentialing, and end-user device support. The Project Manager will map the project lifecycle, serve as the central point of coordination, and provide regular status updates and communications to leadership.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a centralized project management framework for all project workstreams
- Coordinate cross-functional technical teams to ensure alignment on timelines and deliverables
- Create and manage project schedules, dependencies, and critical paths for infrastructure deployments
- Facilitate regular stand-ups, planning sessions, and retrospectives across technical teams
- Manage release cycles and deployment calendars across server, network, and cloud environments
- Identify and mitigate risks, dependencies, and blockers affecting project timelines
- Establish standardized communication channels between technical teams and stakeholders
- Develop and maintain project documentation, status reports, and dashboards
- Serve as the primary point of contact for project status updates and communications
- Work with clients to foster best business practices, including the appropriate use of automation to provide efficient, cost-effective administrative systems and a continuous process improvement approach
- Articulate the programs strategy and objectives and assess organizational impact
- Deliver successful program outcomes
Required Qualifications:
- Active security clearance required
- U.S. citizenship required
- At least seven (7) years of experience as a Program Manager or Program Consultant
- Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, GitLab)
- Experience with ITIL frameworks and IT Service Management
- Experience with change management processes in enterprise environments
- Act as an intermediary to facilitate a clear understanding among all parties regarding business assumptions and strategic objectives
- Work closely with technical staff to establish, revise, and maintain standards and procedures while implementing system projects
- Assist, as needed, with business process redesign to leverage efficiencies offered by automation
- Assist in researching, selecting, and implementing software solutions to meet FISMA standards
- Research, recommend, and document processes, procedures, and policies aligned with FISMA standards and ITIL best practices
- Define and oversee dependent projects required to achieve overall program goals
- Manage multiple program teams and, when applicable, project managers
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies
- Experience coordinating technical teams across multiple IT domains
- Proven ability to manage complex infrastructure projects with interdependencies
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Basic understanding of IT infrastructure components, including networking, servers, and cloud services

- PMI certification and/or Agile program management certification preferred
