Direct Counsel is seeking a Real Estate Capital Markets Finance Associate to join a leading national law firm with a prominent real estate finance practice. This is an exceptional opportunity for a mid- to senior-level associate to work on complex commercial real estate financing and investment matters in a collaborative, high-profile environment.

The Opportunity

The firm is seeking an associate with 4–8 years of experience representing clients in commercial real estate finance, including:

• Origination of mortgage loans and other structured debt for lenders

• Workouts of distressed commercial real estate loans

• Purchases and sales of commercial property

Qualifications

• 4–8 years of relevant real estate finance experience at a large regional, national, or international law firm

• Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school with strong academic credentials

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary range (NYC / NY State / CO / CA): $310,000 – $435,000, commensurate with experience
