Experienced Litigation Paralegal:

We’re seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal with a background in personal injury to join our dedicated team. Ideal candidate must have strong Personal Injury background, able to handle litigation cases independently from opening to closing, proficient in e-filing, able to manage and prioritize multiple projects and tasks, must be a team player, but able to work with minimal supervision, manage own time effectively, maintain control over all current projects/responsibilities, follow up on all relevant issues, reliable and able to work under pressure. MUST HAVE SOLID PERSONAL INJURY LITIGATION EXPERIENCE. Inexperienced candidates will not be considered. Please do not apply if you cannot work independently. Salary DOE.
Litigation Paralegal Roles & Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
- Case Management: Assist in managing a large caseload of personal injury cases, ensuring timely and efficient progress from intake through resolution.
- Client Communication: Act as a point of contact for clients, providing updates, gathering information, and ensuring they feel supported throughout the legal process.
- Document Preparation: Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, responses, and other litigation documents.
- Discovery: Manage document production, organize evidence, and coordinate with medical providers for records, bills, and statements.
- Calendaring: Schedule and manage all critical deadlines, hearings, and trial dates in coordination with attorneys.
- Legal Research: Conduct legal and factual research as needed to support case strategies.
- Trial Preparation: Prepare trial binders, exhibit lists, witness lists, and coordinate trial logistics.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure cases are handled effectively and efficiently.
Day-to-Day Duties:
- Opening cases in Trial Works.
- Prepare, organize, and file documents and correspondence.
- Request medical records and bills.
- Conduct legal research.
- Draft Summons and Complains, Motions, Pleadings, Discovery, Notices of Depositions, Notices of Hearings, Subpoenas, Request for Copies, Agreed Orders, etc.
- Update and maintain internal databases.
- Prepare witnesses and other materials for case preparation.
- Organize relevant documents for attorney review and case preparation.
- Trial prep.
- Process invoices, check requests for medical facilities and vendors.
- Correspondence with clients, doctors, experts, court reporters, opposing counsels, witnesses, courts etc.
- Prepare and organize cases for depositions, hearings, mediations and trials.
- In preparation for deposition advise client, hire court reporter, confirm deposition dates.
- Prepare, draft and E-file all court documents.
- Calendar deadlines and court dates, follow up on deadlines, maintain calendar, schedule events.
- Heavy data entry.
- Prepare and Settlement "Green" folders.
Litigation Paralegal Required Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and tasks.
- Self-check and follow up .
- Knowledge of E-filing and PACER.
