Job Summary

The Kitchen Technician is responsible for ensuring that all property equipment related to our kitchen are in good service condition and are properly maintained in the best possible way with the least amount of inconvenience to end users. Also, the Technician will assist his peers in other duties or areas related to his position such as electrical, plumbing, mechanical and welding.


Education & Experience

• High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field required.

• At least 7 years of progressive experience in a hotel or related commercial industrial field preferred.

• Trade school and/or College degree in related to Kitchen / gas equipment.

• Any license or training related to gas operation equipment will be helpful.

• Valid seminar or certification related to gas equipment.


Physical requirements

• Flexible schedule and long hours sometimes required.

• Heavy work - Exerting in excess of 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or in excess of 50 pounds of force frequently and/or in excess of 20 pounds constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
