Position Details

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
School-Year Position
Follows the Midlakes Central School District Calendar
Enjoy school holidays, recesses, and breaks off

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Education or a related field required
Must be willing to pursue New York State Early Childhood Teaching Certification if not already certified
Experience working with preschool-aged children preferred
Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills
Passion for creating a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment

What You'll Do

Plan and implement developmentally appropriate UPK curriculum aligned with New York State standards
Foster a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment
Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development
Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
Assess student progress and maintain required documentation
Collaborate with staff to ensure every child has the opportunity to succeed
