Position Overview:
Legacy Property Management is hiring an On-Site Property Manager to take charge of daily operations at one of our residential communities. This hands-on role blends administrative responsibilities with field work, including leasing, resident services, inspections, and property upkeep. The ideal candidate is highly organized, customer-focused, and committed to maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all residents.
Key Responsibilities:
Operations & Oversight:

Oversee daily operations of the residential property, ensuring all aspects run efficiently and effectively

Conduct routine inspections of units, common areas, and grounds to ensure safety, cleanliness, and compliance with company standards

Monitor vendor performance and coordinate maintenance and repair activities to ensure timely completion of service requests

Maintain accurate records of property activities including inspections, work orders, and vendor logs
Resident Services & Leasing:

Manage tenant relations by responding to inquiries, resolving complaints, and fostering a positive community environment

Handle all aspects of the leasing process including marketing, showing units, screening applicants, processing applications, and preparing lease agreements

Oversee move-in and move-out procedures, including unit inspections and deposit handling

Promote lease renewals and maintain high occupancy levels through proactive resident engagement
Maintenance & Property Portering:

Perform daily portering duties such as common area cleaning, trash pickup, and monitoring of the grounds

Identify and report maintenance issues, and ensure curb appeal standards are met at all times

Support seasonal upkeep such as snow removal or landscaping checks when needed

Coordinate with maintenance staff and vendors to ensure prompt service and quality control
Qualifications:

Previous experience in residential property management or leasing required

Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Basic knowledge of property maintenance and safety standards

Self-directed with strong organizational and time management abilities

Proficient with property management software

Must be available for emergency response and on-call duties if required
Compensation:

Competitive pay based on experience plus bonuses for leasing performance
