YOU can be the positive change in someone's life.The Behavioral Consultant (BC) and Mobile Therapist (MT) will gather information on the antecedents, behaviors, and consequences in written format to identify treatment goals, determine the type of behavioral intervention needed, and design behavior modification plans that are strength-based, non-aversive, and respect the social-cultural background of the client and family.Responsibilities:Develop a treatment plan for child or adolescent involving data integration from multiple sources with regular, data-driven updatesDirect treatment program including consultation/intervention utilizing behavioral management techniques, regular meetings, and consultation with client, family, and other treatment team membersTrack client progress through organization, review, and charting of data collected by treatment team members regarding frequency, intensity, and duration of targeted behaviors and positive replacement behaviorsDetermine clinical necessity for special evaluations and services such as medication needs assessment by a psychiatrist, psychological testing, or other servicesCollaborate with child/adolescent, family, and other involved professionals to develop daily routines for implementation during times of crisis and transition as well as a 24-hour crisis planWhat you need to be SUCCESSFUL in the Behavioral Consultant and Mobile Therapist role:Passion for patient care and a desire to make positive change in someone's life and...Proficiency in Excel, MS Word, and ability to learn and efficiently utilize computer applications (i.e., EMR)Must possess or have ability to obtain Act 33, Act 34, and FBI clearancesEducation:minimum of 1 year of full-time experience in providing direct mental health services to children, youth or young adults and a graduate degree in psychology, social work, education, or counseling; OR completed a clinical or mental health direct service practicum and have a graduate degree in psychology, social work, education, counseling or a related field; ORgraduate degree in ABA; ORbe licensed in this Commonwealth as a Behavior Specialist; ORhave a certification as a BCBAValid PA Driver's license and active car insuranceIf YOU want to be the ONE who makes a difference in the lives of people in our community, apply for the Behavioral Consultant or Mobile Therapist role in Dauphin County.
